Bubble bath

Giving Andrew a bath is probably my favorite part of the day...mostly because it makes him so calm and happy. He loves to kick and play, and I always get a ton of smiles. This particular bath I used a little too much bubble bath but it sure did make for good pictures!

smiles, smiles, smiles :)

Can you ever have too many smiles? I don't think so!

Happy Father's Day

It only seems appropriate to post a few pictures of Andrew with his Dad for his first Father's Day. For fun, I thought I would post a few pictures of Andrew with my Dad as well, his Grandpa Huizinga.

post bath

Ok, so there's something about these pictures that just crack me up. Here Andrew has been fed, bathed, and put in his pj's. Could he be any more relaxed? Earlier in the blog there are pictures and video of his first bath which did quite the opposite to him. Funny how things change :)

2 month check up

Andrew had his 2 month check up the other day & he has gone from the 25% to 75% in height and weight. He now weighs 12 lbs 11 oz and is 23.5 inches long. Such a big boy! He also got his shots which made him howl! Soon after he calmed down but I (Mary) hadn't. The nurse was comforting me more than Andrew. Quite sad! Mom needs to toughen up :) Later that evening, Andrew had a small fever as a result of the shots. Again, I had a hard time watching my baby suffer. Ryan ended up comforting 2 babies that night...Andrew got medicine and I got chocolate.

2 months!

Hard to believe that it was 2 months ago that Andrew came into our lives. We are blessed! Here is what he looks like at 2 months. Isn't he getting chunky?

More smiles and chubby cheeks

Here are some more fun pictures of my baby smiling. He is becoming much more alert, focusing better, and finding his voice. Everyday is different and so fun!
