The helmet is gone!!!

Oh Sylvia...she is changing from my baby girl to my little girl. Every day I catch her doing things that just affirm how fast she is growing. She now likes to pretend to talk on the phone, put her feet in shoes, and has even tried once or twice to feed herself with a spoon. Her latest fun activity is grabbing a toy, then crawling over to me and handing it to me. She gets this big grin on her face and always goes back for more. Such fun in simplicity :) Do I love this girl? Yes! How much? So much that I let her play with & destroy my favorite flowers...or maybe I was just trying to get a good picture...

Sylvia turns 1

On May 15, our dear daughter turned 1! We can hardly believe it. Her first year of life just flew by. At the age of one, she can do the army crawl, say 'go', has 5 teeth, will often take one nap, loves to walk with help, entertains herself easily, and loves to laugh and smile. She's a keeper :)

A friend gave us a double stroller.  This is the first time we got Andrew to sit in a stroller since he learned to walk.  He usually likes to push :)

Sylvie LOVES to pull, or should I say throw, everything off her changing table and then bang on the empty shelf like a drum.  Needless to say I'm a little tired of re-folding everything!

Sandbox time:  I didn't think Sylvia would enjoy the sandbox.  She proved me wrong...she loves it!  Whenever we head outside she always steers me towards that thing :)

To Andrew, the sandbox is serious business.

Spring

The weather has been gorgeous! Everything is green and the air is so fragrant. It was the perfect time to capture pictures of my Sylvie by our tulips. She was a bit more cooperative this time. Can you believe she is going to be one in just a week?

Tulip Time 2013

Tulip Time 2013...exciting times. Ryan and I were brave parents and took our kiddos to Holland even though Sylvie was under the weather, Andrew did not take a nap, and it was dinner time & we were all hungry. Smart or not so smart? We didn't get the best pictures but good enough :)
