sleeping, smiles, and family

Like most newborns, our Sylvia likes to sleep. Too bad most of this sleeping happens during the day and not so much at night. However, we do get to capture some nice pictures as a result:

As a baby, this was one of Andrew's favorites. I wonder if it brings back comforting memories :)

I did the best I could to capture Sylvia smiling. Not everyone believes me, but she started smiling at about 4 weeks. She's a pro now. I love those smiles!!!

2 week check up

We are happy to post that Sylvia passed her two week check up. She now weighs 7 lbs 8 oz and is about 21.5 inches long. That puts her at the 29% for weight and the 88% for height. She is one long, skinny girl. Her doctor also commented how strong she is and that she could be rolling over soon. What?!
