The boy loves cars!

Andrew loves cars! When we go for a walk all he can talk about are cars. When we are in parking lot he gets so excited to be surrounded by cars. He asks everyday to sit in my car and then go for a drive so he can look for more cars. So it only makes sense that his favorite toys are cars. We are always looking for new activities that we can do with his cars. Here are a few

Making a car wash:

Art Prize

A new tradition in Grand Rapids is something called "Art Prize" where artists can submit and display their artwork. It can be a small or large piece of work, and it can be displayed in various indoor arenas or outdoors. Art Prize goes on for about 3 weeks and then the people of GR get to vote for their favorites. This has been such a fun activity to do as a family. We love to just wander around and see what we stumble upon.

Sylvia's Baptism

Today was a very special day for our family...sweet Sylvia was baptized. Have we mentioned how blessed we are? She behaved (no crying) and looked so cute as always in her pretty pink dress.
Andrew was having a great time...can you tell?

Sylvia's four month check up

Sylvia had her 4 month check up today & she did great! She weighed in at 15 lbs 6 oz which is 69%, and her height was 26 1/4 inches which puts her at 96%. We feel so blessed to have such a happy & healthy little girl. Her doctor commented on her mild manner, her active nature, and her bright eyes. All of these things describe Sylvia perfectly. Because she is doing so well her doctor said we could start her on cereal. So we gave it a try today and she didn't know what to make of it. Pretty much everything we put in her mouth came right back out. We'll keep trying. Enjoy the pics!

Poor Sylvia

I turn my head for a minute and this is what happens! Andrew likes to see what he can get away with when it comes to his sister. Putting things on her head is his latest fascination, and sometimes his choices are just plain odd.  Poor Sylvia! Good thing she is laid back :)
