Park & splash pad fun

What a perfect day to play outside! We got an invite to go to Maplewood Park with some of Ryan's family and we are so glad we went (despite Andrew being a bit crabby).

Thursday morning date

We didn't have any plans today, yet I felt like I needed to get out and do something. So we had a little 'date' at Van's Pastry. Andrew enjoyed his extremely large cookie, while Sylvie just took one bite of her muffin :)

Sylvia's 1 year pictures and stats

I am finally able to post a few of Sylvia's one year pictures. She is such a beauty...inside and out. I love the expressions that our photographer was able to capture. They all exemplify our dear Sylvia so well. We are also happy to report that her one year doctor's appointment went great. She weighs 25 lbs (97% for her age group), and she is 31 & 3/4 inches tall (98% for her age group).

Meijer Gardens

After a week or two of cold, rainy weather, we finally had a nice warm morning and so we decided to take advantage of it! Time to head over to Meijer Gardens. The kids had a blast as you can see:
