Mommy, Daddy, Andrew, and even Sylvia all got caught up in our latest dance party!
Sylvia giggles...we can never get enough of this!
Sylvia loves to jump in her jumper, but even more than that...well, reaching the changing table and throwing all the folded clothes on the floor is even more rewarding!
I don't know why the story behind this picture just cracks me up. Sylvia was sitting in her blue chair (as you can see in the picture) when I went to go get Andrew up from his nap. When I came downstairs, she was laying in the bin of toys chewing on a toothbrush...brushing her one tooth perhaps? She just laid there for the longest time like it was the most normal thing in the world. I love that girl!
Thanks to Auntie Krista, who watched Sylvia for the morning, I was able to go on a date with my favorite little boy. We went to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum and had such a great time. I love that I could walk (or run) through the museum at his pace & and spend time at certain stations where he wanted to spend time. It was just fun to see what caught his attention. There were certain activities that he could have spent hours doing. Because of this, we probably only saw about half of the museum. I guess we will have to go back :)
Sitting in a VW bug
Stacking dominoes
Playing pipe drums
This was one of Andrew's favorites: a magnet table. He had so much fun stacking all the different metal materials
I love that my kids can now take a bath together. Sylvie loves it too...Andrew had to be convinced. But once I told him he could pour water on her, he was game ;)
Every spring, Frederik Meijer Gardens has a special exhibit where you can go into their tropical conservatory and be among many different species of butterflies. It is nice, during these cold winter days, to feel warm air and have butterflies flying all around you. The exhibit just started so there were not too many butterflies around yet. We may have to go back in a few weeks.
No crawling yet, but this girl is on the move. She loves to roll and she loves to scoot. She's at that stage where she scoots under the couch or table, gets stuck, cries, and then does it all over again. I love it!
